Road ban for motorist who took cocaine before driving in Bridgnorth

A motorist who had taken cocaine before getting behind the wheel has been banned from the road.

Cameron Brady, aged 29 drove a Skoda Fabia on Sandy Burn Lane, Quatford, near Bridgnorth on April 20 this year.

A drug test found he had 800 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine - a by-product of cocaine - per litre of blood in his system. The legal limit, taking into account the possibility of accidental exposure, is 50mcg.
