Firefighters called to Much Wenlock public toilets after cubicle on fire

Firefighters were called to public toilets in Much Wenlock after a cubicle was set on fire.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 4.20pm on Sunday reporting the incident on King Street.

Two fire crews were sent from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock Fire Stations to the scene. An operations officer also attended.

SRFS incident log reported that one toilet cubicle was in fire within public toilets.

Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and make the scene safe. 

The incident concluded at 4.35pm.
