A Knighton man’s community order has been changed to take off 37 hours of work because of ill health.

William Alexander Killick was given a 12 month community order with 300 hours of unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation days, as well as costs and a surcharge on November 22 2023, after he admitted drink driving and driving while disqualified and without insurance.

At Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court on Tuesday, a Probation Officer applied to amend the community order by removing the remaining 37 hours of the community work element.

She said Killick could not complete the hours because of ill health.

The 42 year-old of Jubilee House, Knighton did not attend court but he was said to be in agreement with the application.

Magistrates agreed to change the community order but the rehabilitation activity requirement will continue and must be completed by November 21 2024.
