Plans for one self-build home on Cheshire Coppice Lane were submitted by Gary Chesters Chartered Building Surveyor to Telford & Wrekin Council on behalf of the applicant in September.

A previous application for a self-build home on the same site was submitted in March but was withdrawn after multiple objections from residents.

Despite changes, the new application also attracted kickback from several neighbours, who argued the narrow lane was well used by walkers and the development could set a precedent for more building in the countryside.
