A high-powered car smashed into a semi-detached house off the B5061 Holyhead Road in Ketley at around 10.30am last Sunday and badly damaged a corner of the house including the front door.
West Mercia Police have confirmed that no arrests were made at the scene, or have since been made, after the crash.
However, the driver was reported at the scene for driving without due care and the Criminal Justice Department will decide what action will be taken, if any at all.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "No arrests were made. The driver was reported at the scene for driving without due care.
"The driver has been reported by means of a ‘Traffic Offence Report’ (TOR). This is then sent the Criminal Justice Department, who will decide the appropriate action.
"The options are, No Further Action, Driver Education Course, Fixed Penalty Notice, Summons to Court."
The car remains, as of Wednesday, wedged inside the property.
Workers have been on-site at the house next to the Shell garage in Ketley during Monday and Tuesday to make the scene safe, and have prepared the home for extraction of the car by installing a steel beam to support the property's structure.
The BMW is expected to be removed in the coming days.
