'I am being poisoned': Man trashed Oswestry hotel room during mental health episode
A man who damaged an Oswestry hotel room as he suffered a mental health episode will be getting the help he needs in a secure mental health hospital, a court was told.

Thomas Price pleaded guilty to causing damage to a radiator, television and toilet at the Travelodge in Oswestry on November 24, 2023 when he appeared by video link at Telford Magistrates Court.
The court was told that 34-year-old Price is due to be released from Hewell Prison, where he is serving a 93-week sentence, into a secure mental hospital.
Price, who is of no fixed abode but previously of Shrewsbury, appeared over a video link at Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday where he entered his plea.
Kate Price, prosecuting, said the defendant had “complained to reception about being poisoned and was acting bizarrely”.
