The 17-year-old sensation dropped in on Truffles Cafe in the historic town, ahead of his evening showdown with Jermaine Wattimena at the Grand Slam of Darts - taking place in Wolverhampton.

As it was it proved the perfect preparation with the teenager romping into today's semi-finals with a record-breaking performance in a crushing 16-2 win - the heaviest quarter-final defeat in the tournament’s history.

During his visit to Truffles, on the Wharfage, Littler took time to pose for pictures with staff, who wished him well ahead of his match - and asked him to come back with the trophy if he wins.
