Shrewsbury hair salon raises hundreds for cancer charities after hairdresser faced the snip and donated hair

A Shrewsbury hairdressers' shop has held its first charity day raising hundreds of pounds for cancer causes as well as donating hair.

Hair on the Hill in Bayston Hill has raised £450 for the Little Princess Trust alongside £306 for Cancer Research UK.

Business owner Danni Redding decided to hold her first charity event since taking over the salon and was pleased to get her staff and clients involved.

Hairdresser at the salon, Chantel Boulton faced the snip and has donated more than 12 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust that will go towards making wigs for people with cancer.
