A Evans & Son Ltd opened in Wyle Cop in 1924 when Alfred Evans opened it up. He eventually handed it over to his son, Kenneth.
Kenneth in turn passed the business to Mike Evans who retired about three years ago.
It is now run by manager Simon Edwards who says it has been 'built on great foundations'.
