Firefighters called to house after incident involving light fitting in bedroom
Firefighters rushed to a property near Newport early this morning after residents reported a smell of burning.

The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 5.50am on Wednesday reporting the incident at a property on Mill Lane in Tibberton.
Two fire crews were sent from Newport and Wellington fire stations to the scene.
The incident involved a small fire within the light fitting of a bedroom.
Fire crews removed the light fitting and checked the area using a thermal imaging camera. Advice was also given to the property's occupier.
The incident concluded at 6.35am.
