Freezing cold and no electricity as Shropshire residents wake to powercuts
Residents in part of Telford woke to find their electricity was off as temperatures plunged to below freezing.

Up to 87 properties were affected in the Ludford Drive area of Brookside following the power cut at 1.29am on Thursday.
Power was restored to the properties by engineers by midday.
The outage is reported to have been caused by a fault on the low voltage network in the area.
Elsewhere, 55 properties were left without power in the SY15 area near Chirbury.
The outage caused by a 'high voltage' incident was first reported at 10am.
National Grid said it expects the problem to be resolved by 4pm.
