Alisha Milius of Crowmoor Primary School went out to play with her friend Issy last Saturday, but could not have prepared for the quick thinking and bravery she would go on to show.

An ambulance was called to Twyfords Way playing field in Monkmoor, Shrewsbury by Alisha after her friend Issy fell from height and was reportedly left unconscious.

Alisha's grandmother Kim Davies said the 11-year-old approached a nearby woman and asked to use her phone to call the emergency services, as well as using her coat to keep her friend Issy warm and staying by her side in the rain until paramedics arrived.
