PureGym set to open in Oswestry with six jobs created

A major UK gym operator is set to open a new base in Oswestry.

PureGym will open the brand-new gym at Penda Retail Park, near to Halfords and B&M, on December 20. 

The 7,500 sq. ft. gym will provide members with 24/7 access to flexible, affordable fitness facilities and is set to create six jobs. 

A spokesperson for PureGym said: “Following sustained demand for PureGym’s affordable, flexible fitness offering in Shropshire, we are excited to be expanding our presence with a brand-new gym in Oswestry. 

"Our members will have 24/7 access to everything they need to work out and leave feeling their best - all through our low cost, no contract memberships. 

"We can’t wait to welcome members through the doors of PureGym Oswestry."

Bosses are promising hundreds of pieces of state-of-the-art equipment, a functional zone, free weights area, fixed resistance, cardio equipment and a fitness studio and a huge range of classes. 

The company says it is also  on the lookout for people who want to turn their passion for fitness into a career through the PureGym Personal Training Academy.
