Revealed: Shropshire's average rent prices and how much they have risen
Rent prices in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin rose nine per cent over the past year, new figures show.

Provisional figures from the Office for National Statistics show the average private rent in the Shropshire Council area reached £765 per month in the year to October – up 9 per cent from £699 per month a year prior, and up 28 per cent from an estimated £600 a month five years ago.
In Telford and Wrekin, average private rent reached £767 per month in the same period – also up nine per cent from £706 per month a year prior and up 25 per cent from £615 a month five years ago.
