A Powys group of singers have a busy run up to Christmas with several concerts in the diary.

The Bracken Trust Singers will be taking part in a double figure number of concerts prior to Christmas, but there are two events they will be most involved in.

On Sunday, December 1 at 7pm at the Metropole Hotel, the Bracken Trust are presenting “Carols by Candlelight” and other musical memories.

As well as the host Bracken Singers, the concert will also feature Rhayader & District Male Voice Choir, Voices in Unity, Cefnllys Primary School, and Ysgol Calon Cymru.

Tickets priced at £10 are available online, or from The Bracken Trust Charity Shop, on Middleton Street, Llandrindod Wells.

Llandrindod Wells Town Council will host “Carols at the Bandstand” and the Bracken Trust Singers will also be there.

The Council is inviting those interested to join along with the Singers for time honoured traditional

carol singing.

This concert will take place on Friday, December 13 at the Bandstand, Temple Gardens, Llandrindod Wells. Free mulled wine, mince pies and carol sheets will also be available.
