Shropshire Council has said several footpaths and bridleways in Whitchurch will close for around six months next week.

Bridleway 125 and 126, footpaths 122, 123, 127 and 128 (off Tilstock Road) and footpaths 122, 123, 127 and 129 which all run in between the B5476 Tilstock Road and Mossfields Farm will be the subject of a temporary order.

The order will come into operation on November 28 and be in place until May 28 next year.

The authority said the order "is required on the grounds of public safety because of the potential danger to the public during works being undertaken on the development".

An alternative route will be available on the ground for one of the routes between Tilstock Road and Mossfield Farm.
