More than five acres of south Shropshire land next to the River Teme to be sold at auction

More than five acres of land near Ludlow will go under the hammer next week.

The permanent pasture land that is "suitable for a range of uses" and approximately 1.5 miles from Ludlow will be auctioned on Friday, November 29 at 3pm at Halls Holdings House in Shrewsbury.

The land offered by Halls is approximately 5.4 acres in size and has a guide price of £50,000 to £55,000. 

However, the land's boundary leads to the edge of the River Teme and any threats to the water, environment, riverside habitats and biodiversity will be closely monitored.

The listing says: "The land comprises approximately 5.4 acres of level, good quality grazing or mowing land. 

"The title boundary of the land leads to the edge of the River Teme on its eastern boundary.

"There are approximately 180 metres overgrown bank to the River Teme. The River Teme is designated as a Site of Special Scientific interest. Therefore threats to the water environment, riverside habitats and biodiversity will be closely monitored by Natural England."
