No tax, no insurance, no car - BMW seized by police in Wellington

Residents are being urged to report vehicles after a BMW was towed away for having no tax, no MOT and no insurance.

The BMW was seized on Saturday afternoon from Wellington after police checks found it to have no MOT, no tax and no insurance.

The discovery was made by Police Office Davies on a patrol around the town. 

In the aftermath, West Mercia Police shared a photograph of the car on the back of a recovery truck and urged resident to report concerns to their local policing teams.

A spokesperson for the force said: "This afternoon on Saturday, November 23, College & Arleston Safer Neighbourhood Team have been on patrol in Wellington. Police Officer Davies has located this vehicle and seized the vehicle for having no tax, no insurance and no MOT.  

"As a local policing team we regularly receive local residents concerns about multiple vehicles and appreciate the information provided."
