Police appeal for info after fire started on Shrewsbury canal towpath spreads to fences
Police said a fire started on a canal towpath 'caused significant damage' to fencing.

The incident took place on the towpath behind Comet Drive in Ditherington, Shrewsbury, at around 4.15pm on Sunday, November 17.
Officers are now appealing for information about the incident, or anyone who witnessed anything to get in touch.
Posting on social media Shropshire Police said: "We are appealing for information following arson in Shrewsbury on Sunday November 17. Around 4.15pm a fire was started on the canal towpath behind Comet Drive, Ditherington, which caused significant damage to the rear fences of two properties.
"Officers are asking for anyone to come forward who may have witnessed the fire being started or anybody who has information that would help with the investigation.
