Welsh school children made sensational snowmen and rocking reindeers for the Winter Fair.

School children from across Wales created sensational snowmen and rocking reindeers for the Winter Fair.

Youngsters at junior schools were asked to make the wintertime favourites in any medium for the handicrafts section of the fair.

And the entries flooded in with seven year-olds and under making snowmen, while those aged eight to 12 year-olds focused on the reindeers. 

They used all manner of items including twigs, pipe cleaners, wood, paper plates and bowls etc.

Stewards Aerona Davies and Mary Raw were looking after their exhibits while they were on display on the Llanelwedd showground.

Aerona said: “The children have worked hard, and come up with some great ideas, fair play to them.”
