Wall hit and badly damaged by vehicle at junction of two narrow roads in Ironbridge

A wall at the meeting of two narrow roads in Ironbridge has been badly damaged by a vehicle.

Residents of the town took to social media on Monday to share pictures of a wall on the New Road/Church Hill junction that has been crashed into.

Several bricks were left scattered on the road after the crash.

Cones were placed around the wall to section the area off from members of the public.

Signs alert drivers that New Road is "unsuitable for wide vehicles".

Telford & Wrekin Councillor Carolyn Healy posted on social media saying: "I am aware of the damaged wall on New Road/Church Hill junction and have reported it to the borough council engineers."
