Parkrun is an activity where the participants make their way around the circuit of The Groe, which is in the centre of Builth Wells.

The route is a total of five kilometres, which can be walked, jogged, run or skipped, the mantra is ‘5k your way.’

The parkrun is held every Saturday at 9.30am weather permitting.

Lee has, so far, put on 210 Parkruns, all of which are organised entirely by volunteers.

The activity has been essential in promoting both mental and physical well-being in the town.
