Cars seized by police in Prees and Much Wenlock after being driven with no tax or MOT
Police seized two vehicles in Shropshire on Saturday after they were found to be untaxed.
West Mercia Police officer and PCSO in Wem, Oliver Morris reported that he and PCSO Parker were made aware of a vehicle in Prees.
Upon arrival, checks were conducted and the officers found that the vehicle was untaxed.
Subsequently, officers seized the Nissan car.
The post said: "PCSO Morris and PCSO Parker were made aware of the vehicle by a member of the public.
"If you have any concerns in your local area please contact your local SNT for help and advice."
Meanwhile, in Much Wenlock, PCSO Helen Scott reported that a vehicle had been seized after it was found without tax or a valid MOT.
A post said: "A vehicle without insurance has been seized for no tax or MOT and for being driven whilst SORN [statutory off-road notification]. This is to keep other roads users safe.
"If you suspect a vehicle is being driven without insurance, tax or MOT contact your safer neighbourhood Team BMW.SNT@westmercia.police.uk."
