'Growling' binge drinker downed 14 pints and hit policewoman in the face after knocking himself out in Dawley
A “growling binge drinker” downed at least 14 pints and an “unknown” amount of shots before hitting a policewoman in the face.

“Hysterical” Mitchell Cheshire, aged 21, unintentionally flung his arms and sent the officer to the ground as she tried to help him, after witnessing him fall over and knock himself out.
Telford Magistrates Court was told police were driving through Dawley, Telford at around 10.35pm on August 11 this year when they saw Cheshire running, before falling and “knocking himself unconscious”.
Officers approached him and he came round, but he “became aggressive” and ran away.
When they caught up with him he was described as “laughing, crying, hysterical and growling”.
