Traffic restrictions in place for return of Much Wenlock Christmas Fayre

Traffic restrictions will be in place for the return of Much Wenlock's Christmas Fayre.

Around 150 stalls will line the streets along with many of Much Wenlock's independent shops decked out for the festive season.

Throughout the day will be a variety of entertainment in venues around the town, including performances from choirs and brass bands.

The event will finish with a candlelight procession led by the Holy Trinity Church Choir from High Street to the town square at 4.30pm.

From 5.30am on Saturday, December 7, traffic will be prohibited from parking, waiting and loading on High Street (Back Lane to Wilmore Street), Wilmore Street, Barrow Street (High Street to St. Mary’s Road), Bull Ring (Wilmore St to Wenlock Priory Car Park), King Street (Queen Street to High Street) and Sheinton Street (Queen Street to New Road).

The fayre will close at 5pm, with traffic restrictions lifted at 6pm.
