Fire service called to blaze at Shrewsbury house caused by 'item left on hob'
Fire crews used a hose to put out a fire caused by an item left on a cooker.

The incident took place at a home on Bainbridge Walk in Shrewsbury, with crews sent to the scene at around 8.46pm yesterday - Monday, December 2.
An update from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said that the crews had worn breathing equipment while using a hose to put out the blaze.
They said that the incident "involved a fire caused by an item left on the electric hob".
After putting out the fire they also worked to clear smoke from the property.
