The Angel Sculpture, which champions youth anti violence education and engagement, was unveiled in Perth and Kinross on Monday with a full civic ceremony including all law, emergency and social service departments and institutions.
For the whole month of December, the Knife Angel will stand directly outside Perth Museum.
Stewards and volunteers will be present at the Angel daily, to address families and youths over the dangers of both carrying weapons and slipping into violence, without understanding the terrible consequences when very often events spiral out of control.
Clive Knowles, chairman of the British Ironworks at Oswestry, said: "The Angel has now travelled to over 50 cities and towns across the United Kingdom, which has broken all previous records over art both travelling so far and addressing millions of people with a social educational message”
