A “stupid” father who sent “threatening and frightening” messages to a woman has been banned from contacting his victim “indefinitely”.

Jack Martin, aged 31, had his head in his hands while sitting in the dock as his messages were read out and a voicemail played.
Shrewsbury Crown Court, sitting at Telford Justice Centre, was told that Martin, who has a 10-year-old son, made the communications to his victim in Telford in March this year.
Martin, of Meadowlea, Madeley, Telford, pleaded guilty to harassment.
His barrister told Recorder Anthony Warner that Martin is “keen to engage with the probation service”.
