A drink driver who was caught moving his Range Rover after a “few pints” at a colleague’s birthday do has been handed a hefty fine.

Roy Rowlands, aged 41, was spotted by police driving off from the Forester’s Arms in Madeley, Telford, on October 19 this year.
Telford Magistrates Court was told officers followed him to a car park in nearby Station Road.
His driving was described as “erratic” and Rowlands as “unsteady on his feet”.
Officers approached him and he told them he’d had “a few pints”.
