A weekend of Christmas-themed revelry is set to bring fun and road closures to Oswestry.

The town's first big event is Christmas Live on Friday when there will be fairground rides, a giant snow globe, Santa's Grotto and many other attractions from 5pm in the centre.
Oswestry Town Council has issued advance notice on road closures covering Albion Hill, Bailey Head, Bailey Street, Church Street, Cross Street, English Walls, New Street, Smithfield Street, Smithfield Road and Willow Street (The Cross to Castle Street).
They will be closed from 3pm to 11pm.
PCSO Andy Neeves, of the Oswestry Central policing team said: “Please be aware of road closures that will be in place on Friday, December 6.
