Telford grandmother celebrates 90th birthday with first tattoo and ride on a Harley-Davidson
To celebrate her 90th birthday, this Telford pensioner sat down for her very first tattoo.
When Doreen Osborne, of Madeley, would pop into the studio to see her tattoo artist son Robin at work, she wouldn't shy away from telling his clients what she thought about getting inked.

She said: "I used to take his sandwiches to his shop when he lived by me, and if there was anybody I knew there, I used to say, 'You're not having a tattoo are you?!' and he'd say 'mother, shut up!'"
But this year, to celebrate turning the big 9-0, Doreen signed herself up for an hour in the chair at Robin's studio in Swadlincote.

"Not long after last year's birthday, I said I'll tell you what, when I'm 90 I'm going to have a tattoo and a ride on a Harley-Davidson bike. Some people jump out of aeroplanes - but that's not me."
On Saturday (November 30) after having a bit of help climbing on the back of Robin's motorbike, the pair took a trip to his studio - Tough Luck Tattoo Parlour - so he could do the honours himself.
Doreen chose a red and blue swallow, in tribute to her late husband who used to keep colourful birds.
Despite describing the feeling as "a thousand injections with a dull needle", Doreen sat through the inking session like a champ.
There's no full sleeve on the cards for her 100th, however: "My son was very, very pleased with me. He said 'mother, you were a star', and I said 'good, but I shan't have another one!'"
