Jade Davies pleaded guilty to being the owner of a dangerously out-of-control dog at her home in Wem on March 21, 2024.
Shrewsbury Crown Court was told that the injury suffered by PC Ian Sweeney at Davies' home in Isherwoods Way was “very unpleasant” and “significant”.
A destruction order on the dog is being considered at the moment, the court heard on Tuesday when 25-year-old Davies appeared to enter her plea.
