Mobile barber Curt Marshall, aged 33, had downed three bottles of Corona and a shot at an “all-day brunch” to celebrate his birthday, but was later involved in a crash in his high-powered Audi SQ5 in Telford on October 19 this year.
Representing himself in court, Marshall told magistrates in Telford: “I was involved in a hit and run. The driver fled the scene to his home.”
Police were called to Wellington Road at around 8.30pm, where Marshall identified himself as the Audi driver.
