A series of free workshops and one-to-one advice sessions are being run by leading consultancy Good2Great, who have retail sector experience across the Midlands, with funding provided by South Staffordshire Council.

“The ‘High Street Boost’ scheme is aimed at independent retailers and businesses and covers everything from digital marketing strategies to customer and community engagement techniques, sales, window dressing, marketing and administration,” said Sally Themans of Good2Great.

“The initiative was launched in Stafford and due to its success has now been rolled out to South Staffs.

“It is a fantastic opportunity for people to access support which is designed to transform their business, enhance their operations, attract more customers and increase profitability.”

Louise Rose of The Flower Shop in Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, said: “I really enjoyed the support and ideas that my advisor Nicola Edwards has given me to develop my business, creating a better service for my customers and helping to put in place a more automated process.  A lovely person and a pleasure to work with.”

The next event in the programme will be an interactive online workshop which will be on January 7 from 5.30pm
