No Spring walking festival in Kington in 2025.

Kington Walks which usually organises a spring and an autumn festival have said next year’s spring event will not take place.

The group said they need time to build their capacity to operate effectively as a group and they believe a pause will enable them to continue to offer a great selection of walks at future events.

A spokesperson said: “It is with regret that we are announcing that we will not be holding a Spring Walking Festival in 2025. We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause to our festival-goers and our community. 

“This has not been an easy decision, but we believe it is necessary to enable us to take some time to build our capacity and to allow us to continue to offer a great selection of walks in future years.

“We hope you will join us for our Autumn 2025 festival, which will continue as normal and will be from September 18 to 21.”
