'Remain vigilant': This is why Telford police issue alert in The Nedge

Residents in The Nedge part of Telford have been urged to 'remain vigilant' after someone tried a back door of a property.

Police in Telford say that they have received a report of someone in a resident's back garden between 9.30pm and 9.45pm on December 4.

PC Natalie Baggott, of The Nedge West Mercia Police team, said: “We have had a report of someone in a resident's back garden. Police have received a report that someone was trying the back door of a property in the Deepdale area of Telford.

“Can we please ask that resident's remain vigilant, keep all doors locked and report any suspicious incidents on 101 or if a crime is in progress 999.”
