Presteigne craft fair success after it raised over £700 to maintain the church.
A Christmas fair held at a Presteigne church was very successful with over £700 raised for the church.
The annual Christmas fair took place at St Andrew’s Church recently
The church was packed with a variety of stalls including cakes, jams, ceramics, art, candles, jewellery, children's knitted wear, bags, Father Christmas and more!
There were also carols and Presteigne Primary School children went along and gave a wonderful performance of Christmas songs.
There was also a raffle and many prizes were donated by the stalls.
One of the organisers Di Hammersley said; “St Andrew's Church in Presteigne held a successful annual craft fair on November 29. The church was packed with stalls selling a variety of crafts. Money raised was upwards of £700, which will be used to maintain the church building.”
