Vehicle with no MOT or insurance seized by police in Oswestry and loaded onto a truck

Police have seized a car from Oswestry town centre after it was found with no insurance or valid MOT.

West Mercia Police officer, Kyle Jones, posted on the force's Neighbourhood Matters page reporting the seizure in Oswestry on Monday.

Officers discovered the vehicle that had no insurance and an expired MOT during patrols in the town and quickly had the car loaded onto a recovery truck.

The post said: "On Monday 9, whilst carrying out foot patrol, the town centre team managed to seize a vehicle with no insurance and an expired MOT on King Street.

"This comes from being proactive within their hotspot areas around Oswestry."
