'You had a duty to stop it' - Former boxer, 29, jailed for grooming and sexual abuse of teenage girl
A 29-year-old father of four who groomed a schoolgirl for a year before having sex with her has been jailed for six years and three months.

A crown court judge told Dillon Robb, a former boxer from Telford, that he should have said no after the girl developed a crush on him, but instead he had encouraged it.
“She came to you for help, you a grown adult, she a teenage girl,” said judge Recorder Richard McConaghy at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Friday.
“You groomed her, got her to trust you. She developed a fascination for you which you cultivated.
“You had a duty to stop it, not cultivate it.”
The court heard that at one stage Robb had threatened to reveal what had happened and then kill himself, a tactic to control her.
He had sex with her in his car in Telford. They would talk for a time before he would start hugging her, touching her and engaging in sexual activity, the court was told by prosecutor Philip Clemo.
Details were revealed when the father of the girl found hundreds of messages on her phone in 2023 going back over one year.
Many of the messages were sexual in nature, the court was told.
