L and R Christmas Cracker have brought the warmth and joy of Christmas Day to residents in Leominster who might otherwise spend it alone for the last five years.

They provide a free three course Christmas Day lunch to all, creating a space for connection, celebration and comfort for those who need it most.

Now they are bringing the service to Kington after receiving a £200 grant from the town council

Rebecca and Lee Ellsmore said: “We are looking to support the lonely and people affected by the cost of living crisis, this can be of any age and background, on what can be the longest of days to be without.

“We will buy everything the week prior, deliver our service on Christmas Day with any leftover usable items going to the food bank and or community larder.”

The three course meal can be enjoyed at the Lion Café in Kington from 12 noon until 2pm or it can be taken away.

It is open to all, pre-booking is advised but not required and anyone who would like to donate or volunteer can contact Rebecca on 07825399223 or email rebeccanatalie@me.com.
