Range of Christmas services in the Kington parishes over the festive period.
A range of Christmas services will be held in the Kington parishes over the festive period.
The first event will be a Nine Lessons and Carols Service at St Mary’s Church in Kington on Friday, December 20 at 7pm.
It will be followed on Saturday, December 21 by Messy Church from 2pm until 3.30pm and Christingle at 3.30pm, both at St Mary’s Church in Kington.
On the fourth Sunday of Advent on Sunday, December 22, there will be Holy Eucharist at St Mary’s Church in Kington at 10am, evening prayer at St Mary’s Church in Kinnerton and at St Thomas a Becket in Huntington at 6pm.
On Christmas Eve there will be a Crib Service at St Mary’s Church in Kington at 4pm, a Crib Service at St Mary’s Church in Kinnerton at 6pm, Christmas Eve Mass at St Bed’s Church, Kington at 6pm, Christmas Eve Mass at St Thomas’, Weobley at 9pm, Christmas Eucharist at St Stephen’s Church in Old Radnor at 9.30pm and Midnight Eucharist at St Mary’s Church in Kington at 11.30pm.
Christmas Day will begin with Holy Eucharist with Carols at St Thomas a Becket and St Mary’s Church in Kinnerton at 8.30am, and at St Mary’s Church in Kington and St Peter’s Church in Titley at 10am. There will be a Christmas Day Service at the Baptist Church in Kington at 10.30am, and a Christmas Day Mass at St Thomas’ in Weobley, also at 10.30am.
Mass will be held at St Bede’s Church in Kington at 6pm on Saturday, December 28 and a group Eucharist with carols will take place at St Stephen’s Church in Old Radnor at 10am on Sunday, December 29.
