The non-profit organisation hosted the auction at its Church Street base in the north Shropshire town last Sunday.
Products and services were donated by businesses in the town and sold to the highest bidders.
More than £2,500 was raised in total from the event and will go towards Hope House hospice, a local care home, and the group's pensioners lunch.
Monday, December 16 will see Market Drayton Royal British Legion host 140 people for a special Christmas lunch.
Chairman of the group Roy Blase hosted the auction and said: "What a fantastic day.
"We have had loads of people here, raised lots of money for our charities. It's all down to the people of Market Drayton and everyone who has given us donations.
"A big thank you to everyone. We have had lots of fun as always."
Ian Nellins of the town's Legion branch added: "A lot of people turned up, and a lot of local businesses donated products of services that were auctioned off.
"Despite the really bad weather it was really well attended and raised more than £2,500.
"The money will go towards the pensioners' Christmas lunch that we do and then the rest towards Hope House and a local care home.
"Thanks go to the people who attended the auction. A lot go to the businesses who support the Legion members and took part in the day.
"Roy who is the chairman did a really good job."
