David Gaunt, 81, and his partner Patricia Morris, 80, were forced to abandon their home on Holyhead Road in Ketley, Telford, after a BMW careered off the highway and ploughed into the building.
The terrifying incident, which happened on November 10, left the high-powered car wedged into a giant hole smashed in the house.
David and Patricia have previously told how they were "30 seconds from not being here", having been just about to go out for the day when the disaster struck.
The Telford community has rallied around, with thousands raised by an online fundraiser set up by Danielle Hoyle.
