Inspectors from the education watchdog visited Buntingsdale Primary School and Nursery in Market Drayton on November 5.

The visit was an ungraded inspection after the school was previously graded 'Good' overall. Ofsted visited to determine whether the centre "has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at that previous inspection".

And, following their visit, inspectors concluded: "Evidence gathered during this ungraded inspection suggests that aspects of the school’s work may not be as strong as at the time of the previous inspection. The school’s next inspection will be a graded inspection."

However, the school was still praised for its work that pupils are said to enjoy attending.
