Believed to date back, in part, to the 1600s, Wilbrighton Manor Farm near Newport is up for grabs and it's cheaper than ever.

The 6.25-acre residential smallholding boats a four-bedroom detached farmhouse that's been partially renovated, and it could be all yours for £775,000.

The charming building, believed to have once been thatched, contains feature fireplaces, exposed brickwork, quarry tiled floors and timber beams throughout.

An open-plan living space features a large central chimney breast and includes a kitchen/breakfast room with an inglenook fireplace and Aga cooker, a dining room with exposed timber framing, and a sitting room with a log-burning stove. Adjacent to these is the former 'cheese room,' now used as a study.

Off the kitchen is a practical utility room, a shower room, and a spacious drawing room with an open fireplace, overlooking the rear garden and pond.

On the first floor, a landing room with an open timber frame to a secondary area offers potential for a double bedroom, a landing area, and a family bathroom - or could be used as a master suite.

There's also three additional bedrooms, each featuring timber-boarded floors and period fireplaces, as well as a secondary staircase.

The pasture paddocks and pond would support the keeping of livestock and provide potential for the creation of an orchard, kitchen garden or even wildlife habitat.

Outside of the property there are a range of traditional brick outbuildings with potential for a variety of uses including stabling, storage or the potential for a change of use to business or residential subject to obtaining the relevant planning consents.

The Shropshire Star first reported it was up for sale last November, where it was being listed for £900,000.

It's being listed by Berrys, who call the property "a charming residential smallholding with bags of potential".
