A postman in Chirk has been praised for taking a minute out of his round to help secure an inflatable snowman that had taken a tumble in the wind.
Homeowner Dianna Edwards took to social media to praise the "good, friendly neighbourhood postie" for "taking a minute out of [his] day" and helping out her fallen inflatable.
The doorbell footage, shared to social media, shows the helpful postie propping up the toppled snowman and securing it back in place.
Dianna said she wasn't even aware the snowman had fallen over in the high winds until she was reviewing the camera's footage later that day.
Having worked as a postie herself, Dianna said she knew just how tough they have it this time of year.
"I worked as a postie in Oswestry for five years, 20-odd years ago," the 51-year-old former horticulturalist told the Shropshire Star.
"I know what it's like being a postie this time of year, it's heavy work. All the parcels, cards, letters - you're run off your feet! For him to take a few minutes out to do that when he's rushed off his feet... it really was a nice thing to do.
"You see so much about people doing bad things, I thought it would be nice to put something on [social media] about somebody doing something nice coming up to Christmas.
"Some people have just got a nice bit of Christmas spirit and community spirit."
