An application to site 30 holiday lodges on a patch of land north of Buildwas Road in Ironbridge was submitted by agents Brownshore Management, on behalf of Telford Four Ltd, in October.

The site had been granted planning permission for 12-holiday lodges that same month, with planning officers stating that the site was "appropriate for the tourism use".

The latest application argued the additional 18 lodges would "further develop the existing outdoor recreation activities at the site" - including the clay pigeon shooting facility.
