Penelope works from her studio in the county town and is hoping to raise as much as she can for charity through her exhibition.

The artist said: "You have completed the ritual Boxing Day walk, so why not call in with all the family to see some of my latest paintings here in Shrewsbury while supporting a very much deserved charity?

"You’ll find a collection of land and seascape paintings together with flowers and fowl, all of which have a firm place in my distinctive style, while a recent trip to Queensland has further inspired my work featuring colour, movement and life."
