Bridgnorth volunteers have Christmas all wrapped up
Volunteers in Bridgnorth spent a day last week wrapping presents for the local foodbank.

Organised by the town council, the first ever Volunteer Gift Wapping Day saw pupils from St Leonards School, Friends of St Leonards School and Bridgnorth Food Bank get together to wrap presents kindly donated by the children and families of St Leonards School.
A spokesperson for Bridgnorth Town Council said the event on December 18 saw scores of presents wrapped to ensure those in need have something to open on Christmas Day.
The spokesperson said: "We have had a lovely morning, wrapping presents, listening to Christmas music and even enjoying the odd mince pie or two. Bridgnorth Town Council would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone who has helped out.
"From the Food Bank, Liz and Graham; Bridgnorth Lions, Richard and Chris; FOSLS, Claire Maurice; St Leonards School, Miss Howell, Tilly, Rose, Robert, Alethea, Bradley and John, Volunteers from the public, Jess, Jane, Samantha, Linda, Karen, Martha; The Peoples Hall Evangelical Church, Nina, and finally The Majors Consort, Pauline Wellings.
"We would also like the thank Henry & Co for donating some gift wrap and to everyone who has made today a huge success. We have all been overwhelmed at the generosity from all involved."
