Market Drayton drink driver pleads guilty to being over the alcohol limit but says his drinks were spiked

A man who admits drink driving will seek to prove that his drinks had been spiked when he attends a court hearing next year.

Christopher Hollis, aged 48 and of Dalelands West, Market Drayton, pleaded guilty with 'special reasons' to a drink driving charge.

He was found to have 82 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath at Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, on December 1, 2024. The legal limit is 35mcg per 100ml.
